About Synthetic Sonority

There’s so much music in the world, but I would argue that there is not a genre that celebrates such a wildly diverse set of sub-genres more-so than the genre of Electronic Music.

Within the broader category of a genre that is generally known as “music made by computers,” a rich tapestry of styles are consistently emerging, engaging the listener in ways that stretch and enrich the imagination.

For sharp, technically-able audiophiles, as our world becomes more and more sophisticated, so does the means to produce this highly evocative texture-trip of synthetic madness.  At its best, Electronic Music can be intricately complex, with layer upon layer of carefully constructed rhythm and sound.

This blog hopes to explore this fascinating genre of music by featuring sets and original tracks by independent electronic producers from all over the world.  My hope is that you, the listener, will discover new music and perhaps develop a love for a genre that you may have up until now ignored.
